For those who want some back-to-back brevet action, but don’t quite feel like a full hell week, we’re offering our Heck Weekend as a low-key substitute.
Based out of the Hampton Inn and Suites in Homestead, PA, we’ll have three consecutive brevets: a 200K on Friday June 16th, a 300K on Saturday, and a 400K on Sunday the 18th.
The 200K will use our traditional 200K route to Weirton and back via the banks of the Mon River. With a finish in the early evening, riders will have plenty of time to eat, relax, and enjoy a good night’s sleep before our challenging 300K Cresson Adventure. After a few hours rest, the new Allegheny 400K (which eagle-eyed riders may recognize as Day One of our Ghostly GAP Gallivant 600K) will treat riders to a challenging 250K of Allegheny hills, followed by a gentle return via the GAP.
More details will be forthcoming, but this should be sufficient for initial planning purposes.
