Promoting long distance unsupported cycling in the Pittsburgh region
Originally, this was to be a revival of an old route into Ohio…the Minerva Cheese Ride, named for reasons that have faded into the mists of time. Sadly, after scouting, I decided that the route is not worth exhuming. So, we’re offering last year’s Castleman 300 as a far-less-hazardous substitute.
Registration closes: Thursday May 16th
Inspection opens: Saturday May 18th 4:30 AM
Ride start: Saturday May 18th 5:00 AM (20:00 time limit)
Requirements: current RUSA membership, signed waiver
EPoP: Due to abject laziness on the part of your humble RBA, we default to electronic proof of passage (e.g Strava or other GPS track) in the Pittsburgh region brevets. That said, if you prefer olde-schoole printed paperwork such as cue sheets or brevet cards, I’m happy to provide them…just let me know at least three days in advance of the event, so that I have time to prepare and print.
