DESCRIPTION:Running in conjunction with the AMCUP 200K\, both events leave Ohiopyle at 7 AM and share the same initial route over Sugarloaf into Confluence \nAfter Confluence\, we’ll make our way north through Kingwood and New Lexington before heading towards Normalville via the dreaded Jim Mtn Rd climb. Finally\, after crestijng Laurel Ridge\, we’ll enjoy a multi-mile descent into Connellsville\, where the GAP trail will provide a flat\, albeit limestone-covered and likely busy\, respite on the way back to Ohiopyle. \nThis is NOT a gentle 100K…be ye warned… \nNOTE: The descent on Sugarloaf has some very poor stretches of road\, starting around mile 6.2.
